Huggy Ragnarsson (born Hugrún Ragnarsson) is an Icelandic-American fashion photographer[1] and former fashion model,[2] born in Reykjavik, Iceland. She moved to the United States when she was 11 months old and her mother only 19. When she began to model, she turned her attention to fashion photography, which became her full-time career. She has photographed many famous faces, including David Beckham, Linda Evangelista, and Naomi Campbell.[2]
She was the first winner of Teen Magazine's Great Model Search in 1980. Actress Faith Ford competed with Ragnarsson the same year. she was then signed by Elite Model Management New York and had a successful modelling career; she has been described as a supermodel[2].
She served as one of the judges on the modelling reality show Britain's Next Top Model for 2 cycles.
